About

Conor Coady's Creative Journey

Conor Coady is an Irish artist with a diverse background in fine art, printmaking, and mural work. After studying Fine Art and Printmaking on the west coast of Ireland, he built a career as a professional artist, decorative painter, teacher, and programme coordinator.

Over the years, Conor has participated in numerous exhibitions and group mural projects across Australia, America, Ireland, and Germany. His work was also featured in the “Sketching the Line” digital art exhibition, displayed in subway systems and airports across Canada in 2014.

Currently based in Dublin, Conor is an active member of both the Berlin Urban Sketchers and the Germany Urban Sketchers groups, where he continues to make regular artistic contributions. His style brings together vivid storytelling, bold technique, and a deep understanding of space and movement — qualities that shine through in both small-scale illustrations and large public murals.

Festival Design and Community Projects

In 2018 and 2019, Conor Coady led the design, facilitation, and implementation of multidisciplinary entries for the Blanchardstown St. Patrick’s Day Festival Parade:

  • “Alice in Blanchardstown” (2018)

  • “Dublin in the Rare Auld Times” (2019)

Collaborating with seven schools through in-school, after-school, and holiday programs, he brought together diverse elements including marching bands, placards, large-scale soft sculptures, and a “One Book, One Community” initiative inspired by Alice in Wonderland and A Dublin Fairy Tale.

International Contributions and Exhibitions

Conor is an active member of Urban Sketchers Berlin and Urban Sketchers International, regularly contributing sketches and participating in collaborative projects.
In 2014, his work was featured in “Art in Transit”, a public art exhibition commissioned by Pattison Outdoor Advertising for Toronto’s subway system and airports, celebrating creativity in everyday public spaces.
